We are the hands, heart and body of Christ. . .
Heart of Christ, a faith-based mission located in Honduras, was founded by Rev. Lee and Gracie Murphree in 2005. It is the heart of Christ that reaches out to rescue the lost, the suffering, and the dying. We must impact the world by sharing Christ's love in the form of serving others, meeting their needs, rescuing them from their suffering and discipling and empowering them to become the solutions to the problems around them.
You can be a Hero for Jesus and Stand in the Gap for victims of domestic/family violence, child/elderly abuse, rape, child rape, child prostitution, sex trafficking, kidnapping and murder in Honduras.
Join us by sharing this video series on the Heroes page with everyone you know. Sponsor us so we can do the work. Pray for us.
We are all called to rescue the lost and those who suffer. God has commended us to love one another as He has loved us. If you know of someone who is suffering, of a woman being abused, a child being raped, a person who is trafficked . . . and you do nothing . . . are you loving them as God has loved you? No!
Isaiah 59:14-16 God saw that there was no justice anywhere... He was disgusted to see there was no justice . . . to see that there was no one to intervene.
We are called to rescue, called to intervene. It may not be convenient. It could be dangerous. But Jesus gave his life for you. How much are you will to give to him?
Beginning in January 2016, we have begun the Called to Rescue campaign and are preaching all throughout Honduras (more than 70 churches have asked us to come), and hope to also in the United States that everyone is called to rescue. Contact Gracie if you are interested in her coming to your church or group.
We now have a beautiful glossy ministry magazine that explains in detail all of the work Heart of Christ does. If you would like one for your church, email email@example.com and we will get one out to you in the mail. For a .pdf file you can print, just click the above "Ministry Magazine" or the photo below.
